Cold Steel Knives: Cold Steel Recon Tanto Knife, VG-10 San Mai, CS-35AM

This Cold Steel Recon Tanto Knife is the newest iteration of Cold Steel's classic combat knife that features a 7" tanto blade made of VG-10 San Mai steel, 5mm thick. VG-10 San Mai is comprised of a core of VG-10 (for maximum edge holding ability) that is sandwiched between two layers of lower carbon steel (for impact resistance and lateral stress resistance). The Recon Tanto San Mai has a deeply textured black Kray-Ex handle with a single quillon finger guard for secure grip, and a lanyard hole. A Secure-Ex sheath is included. The Recon Tanto San Mai has an overall length of 11.75", and it weighs 8.8 ounces.
